Shan agrees to help her uncle for his help. After defeating Viper, her installation blows up with the mutants apparently still inside.

Flying Down to Rio!

All the New Mutants are accounted for except Shan. The Mutants go to Rio with Sunspot's mother. The Mutants are defeated by Axe after Roberto's mother is kidnapped.

Dani opperated on. Bear attacks the Mutants in the hospital and takes officer Corsi and nurse Friedlander prisoner.
